Since earning her real estate license in 2016, she has helped hundreds of families and personally closed more than $100 million in real estate sales. In addition to serving her clients, Darby is a sought-after trainer who regularly teaches courses on social media, marketing and other real estate topics. As Managing Broker of Mission to Close Realty, an elite boutique brokerage in North Dallas, she coaches and supports a team of successful real estate professionals. Before entering real estate, Darby spent more than 15 years planning and delivering educational programs, meetings and events for nonprofit organizations and professional associations.

 

Community service is one of Darby’s greatest passions. In 2023, she was named the Metrocrest Chamber’s Businesswoman of the Year for her advocacy for women in business, innovation, revenue growth and commitment to exceptional customer service. The Carrollton City Council also selected her as the city’s 2019 Rising Star in recognition of her dedication to the community.

 

Darby’s civic service has included appointments to the Carrollton Mayor’s Advisory Council, Neighborhood Advisory Commission and Planning and Zoning Commission. A graduate of Leadership Metrocrest, she currently serves as Board Chair for the Metrocrest Area Chamber, along with other local nonprofit organizations. She has also served on the boards of numerous other organizations including multiple PTA and booster club boards, Carrollton Aqua Racers Swim Team, National Charity League–Hebron Chapter, Young Men's Service League - Castle Hills Chapter, Connecting the Community and the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Educational Foundation.

 

Darby has lived in Carrollton for more than 20 years with her husband, Rich, and their two children, Vaughn and Beau. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new restaurants, cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks, reading, volunteering and pursuing creative projects.

 

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Darby studied Volunteer Management, Public Administration and Criminal Justice, with a minor in Applied Economics. She has also completed more than 400 hours of alternative dispute resolution training and holds multiple professional mediation certifications, strengthening the skilled negotiation and problem-solving abilities she brings to her clients.
